Pastors overwhelmingly agree that developing leaders is crucial to the success of their ministries. But did you know that less than 30% of pastors actually have a plan in place to develop their staffs? And only 1 in 4 churches require leaders and volunteers to attend training?
There’s a big need among churches: the need to develop leaders. With this in mind, we set out to create a conference that would help churches practice leadership development rather than leadership placement. In 2016, we introduced the Pipeline conference with the hope of meeting this need.
Pipeline is a conference unlike any other. It’s affordable and convenient, concise yet loaded with practical takeaways, filled with top church leaders speaking from experience, and helpful for the whole church.
The response from pastors and church leaders to the conference proved to us just how big a need leadership development is in the church.
Within months of registration being open, the conference sold out. Over 1,000 pastors and church leaders traveled to Nashville, TN in October to learn how to develop leaders at every level and establish leadership pipelines in their own churches and ministries.
In addition to the one day conference, we had planned to offer a limited seating, optional coaching day where pastors and church leaders could receive hands-on training in smaller environments. Little did we know such coaching would be in massive demand. When we sold out of the first coaching day, we expanded to two days more than tripling our seats, and we sold out again
Because we didn’t have space to give everyone the coaching experience, we decided to bring coaching to them. In 2017, we will have traveled to 5 different cities including Orange County, Dallas, Charlotte, Washington D.C., and Phoenix providing hands-on, practical training in smaller environments, helping pastors and church leaders learn how to develop leaders.
In less than a year, we have seen thousands of pastors and church leaders recognize their need to develop leaders and learn practical ways to implement leadership pipelines in their own churches and ministries . And because of this, we cannot wait to gather again in 2017 at Pipeline: Succession at Every Level.
We have taken everything we learned in the past year and applied it to this year’s conference. In order to provide practical takeaways, we have assembled top church leaders who have experience on the topic of succession. These speakers include John Piper, Bob Russell, H.B. Charles, Thom Rainer, and many more.
Expanded Coaching days will be offered the day before and the day after the event with options for training on both Developing Leaders at Every Level and Succession at Every Level.
Seating is limited again this year and we expect the conference to sell out quickly. Claim your spot while you can!
We can’t wait to see you in October!
